As we begin Week 3 of the 2021-22 NFL season, EA has updated Madden 22's rosters in order to reflect the Week 2's performances. This week's update wasn't filled with any major surprises, but certain notable players got a boost in their ratings.

Most notable was a two-point rise in Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski's overall rating. In the span of just two weeks Gronkowski's ratings have gone from an average rating of 86 at the time of his debut to an overall score of 89. He certainly deserves it. After two weeks of playing, Gronk has already scored four touchdowns and racked 12 receptions for 129 yards. Gronk has been in great form for the first week of the season and something tells me this won't be the end of his ratings to rise.

Tyrann Mathieu Kansas City Chiefs safety is another star name who has seen ratings climb. After missing Week 1 with the positive COVID test Mathieu made his season debut against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football. And what a debut it was as Honey Badger recording two interceptions that he returned for one touchdown. Mathieu's Awareness rating and catch rate has increased by one percentage point to 99 and 85, respectively. His overall rating now stands at an 96.

The Titans running back Derrick Henry had his ratings increased following a great performance against the Seattle Seahawks. However, he remains at a score of 96 overall. Henry's launch rating caught some by surprise since a lot of people believe he's one of the best running back in the NFL. With 182 rushing miles in Week 2, and three touchdowns, the RB certainly demonstrated his worth. Henry's catch was two points against 64, however, his break tackle fell to a shocking 92.
