1."After a washout on Friday Ken Boyer Jersey , the Atlanta Braves will begin their first interleague series of the 2019 season with a doubleheader on Saturday against the Cleveland Indians. Game 1 will get underway at 4:10 p.m. ET with Game 2 to follow soon after the completion of Game 1. Julio Teheran will take the mound for the Braves in Game 1 and will be looking to build off of a good effort last time out against the Mets. Teheran allowed six hits and one run over six innings in his last start as he out dueled New York ace Jacob deGrom on Sunday Night Baseball. Teheran has only really had one rough inning this season in which he allowed six runs to the Rockies. While his velocity is still hovering in the 90 mph range, his slider has been effective and he has so far been able to limit the damage. He will face off against Cleveland ace Corey Kluber who is coming off of a rough outing against the Royals his last time out. Kluber lasted just 2 2/3 innings in his last start while allowing six hits, five walks and six runs. He will be making his second career start against the Braves. Touki Toussaint was originally scheduled to start Friday’s opener and will take the ball in Game 2 of the twin bill. Toussaint made his season debut on April 13 when he relieved Sean Newcomb and threw six innings allowing just four hits and one unearned run while striking out seven. Newcomb was optioned to Gwinnett after that game so it appears that Toussaint will get his shot to stick in the rotation. The Indians will counter with right-hander Trevor Bauer in the night cap. Bauer is off to a great start in 2019 allowing more than one earned run just once over his four starts. He allowed just five hits, one run and struck out eight over 6 2/3 innings in his last start against the Mariners.
