The biggest key to Carolina’s success in 2018 is going to be who wins the starting left guard job. Right now Amini Silatolu is penciled in as the starter, but hopefully Ron Rivera’s pencil has an eraser on it because keeping his name in the starting lineup is an excellent way to ensure the offense doesn’t produce anything of note this year. For Cam Newton to succeed in Norv Turner’s system, he has to have time in the pocket. For him to have time, the offensive line has to be good enough to give it to him.
