SINGAPORE Johnathan Joseph Texans Jersey , Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- Police arrested the 27-year-old man who invaded the track of Formula One Singapore Grand Pix on Sunday, and leaked closed circuit television footage shows the process the man entered and escaped midway through, reported local media on Monday.


The footage showed that the man wiggled his way feet-first through a gap in the tall metal fencing at 9:16 p.m. local time, he then walked across the track before breaking into what seemed to be a panicked jog as cars approached. He resumed strolling down on the other side towards Turn 13, against the flow of about seven high-speed cars.


Video from other broadcasters showed he paused briefly before climbing back into the spectator area through another gap in the fencing. Almost at the same time, safety car was deployed.


The incident took place on Lap 37, and eventual race winner Sebastian Vettel screamed over Ferrari's team radio: "There's a man on the track! Man on the track!" during the race.


The man was drunk and intended to take photos when he entered the track, reported by the New Paper.
